Anna White, LICSW

My work is grounded in the belief that people are not broken—but often living within patterns that once made sense. Over time, those patterns can begin to feel limiting. Relationships shift. Identity evolves. What once worked no longer fully fits.

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and relationship systems navigating anxiety, relational conflict, life transitions, identity shifts, and emotional disconnection.

My clinical background includes work across inpatient psychiatry, integrated healthcare, and community mental health settings. I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Behavioral Health. In addition to ongoing clinical development in trauma treatment modalities, I am currently pursuing advanced certification in Sex Therapy and Education through the University of Michigan, further deepening my work around intimacy, relationships, desire, and emotional connection within the broader context of mental and relational health.

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and direct—integrating attachment-based, psychodynamic, behavioral, and systems-oriented therapies, always with attention to the mind-body connection.

This is not a one-size-fits-all process.

For some, the work is exploratory and insight-oriented.
For others, it is focused and forward-moving.

What remains consistent is attention:
to what’s happening beneath the surface,
to the patterns shaping your relationships and inner world,
and to the version of yourself that may be ready to emerge.

Clinical depth. Relational honesty. A shame-free approach to the work that actually matters.
